4S100A 12V Lithium iron phosphate Battery Management system (BMS) from JBD is designed specifically for battery pack made of Lithium Iron phosphate cells also known as LFP or LiFePO4. The battery packs of nominal voltage 14.8V contains 4 cells of 3.7v in series.   It can measure, process and use the real time data of the battery to ensure the safety, stability and long life of the cells and battery.

4S100A 12V Lithium iron phosphate BMS has following salient features

  • The protection of batteries from over-charge, over-discharge, over-current, short-circuit
  • Short term waterproof to protect battery pack from extreme weather and tough dynamic conditions.
  • Common Port design - 2 wires only, Charge and discharge port share the same port.
  • BMS comes with balancing connection wire connector to reduce the wire complexity and number of solders.
  • BMS has passive balancing function which gives long life to the batteries.
  • The appearance is sealed by Heat Sink metal plate for the keeping the temperature under control and provide the BMS with long life.

The BMS 4S 100A comes with equalization function which facilitate to keep the cells at same level and ensure prolong life. The components used in the BMS is

1) Highly integrated IC,

2) low resistance MOS, and

3) high current equalizer.
